* NYC Heritage Music Festival Results: All Choirs--Gold ratings! Ankeny Singers-3rd place mixed; Cantorei-1st place treble & adjudicator award; Concert Choir-1st place mixed, adjudicator award & outstanding choral group (highest score of the festival) Additionally, as a program we received the "Choral Sweepstakes Award."
* CONGRATULATIONS to our 19 students selected for the Iowa All-State Chorus: Carter Evans, Ingrid Dietrich, Mallorie McGuire, Amelie Kerrigan, Charles Heuton, Leah Hatch, Janna Youngquist, Brannen Shanahan, JJ Menke, Julian Zubradt, Eli Feldhans, Evan St. Clair, Josiah Goodlett Mya Backstrom, Kyra Swenson, Evan Huegel, Logan Peterson, Landry Wagner, Lilian Monthei. This is the highest individual music honor for high school students in the state.
